As human beings, we have a birthright on this planet to live life abundantly but because of our brokenness we struggle to win. We are always fighting for our rights. Where is justice?
How about not fighting for our rights but fighting for our righteousness?
God saw our brokenness and was grieved. God could have easily pushed the delete and trash buttons. But, He sent Jesus to fight for us. Jesus fought not for our rights but He fought for our righteousness because God is a Righteous One (the very reason He chose not to delete or trash His creations but chose to reset). Our part is to receive this righteousness in our heart as a gift and not to labor for it as an earning or as a reward.
Like a wardrobe, we put on this gift of righteousness that has already been paid for by His blood on the cross. Putting on the robe of righteousness, we walk with our God-given rights on earth as it is in heaven. So don’t get caught naked or continue wearing the filthy rags. In Jesus, there is no condemnation.

To fight for our rights can be elusive and destructive especially when we fight with a prideful heart. It turns the fight into a self-centered agenda similar to a Jezebel spirit. To shield us from this, we must be humble so that our fight turns into a winning all inclusive agenda.
Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people. Proverbs 14:34
